IN PROGRESS...
As a trip gets underway you begin to settle into the experience, it starts to actually be real. At first it is sometimes unbelievable and it almost doesn't feel like a reality once you get to a certain place that you've been looking at for quite some time or even dreaming of going. After a while though, it settles in that this is reality and we are able to relax and settle into our surroundings much easier. This photo was taken near Picton and was a 30 second exposure. I didn't have a bulb timer (or knew that existed) at the time so I had to work fast. ISO 1600 and f8. Started with dad sitting on the bench being still with the headlight on the ground for three seconds. He would then turn the light off and I would step in hiding the glow sticks in my shirt and paint around to make it look like there is a "ghost of light" next to him. I would then hide the glow sticks again as to not create more trails and run down to the water with my headlight and illuminate the sailboats in the distance. This was a fun one.
